In this event, the discussants will focus on issues relating to piracy, climate change, and new issues relating to deep sea mining and other types of environmental and rights violations.
This event underscores enhancing the conservation and sustainable use of oceans and their resources by implementing international law as reflected in the UNCLOS. It also underscores the action of promoting and supporting all forms of cooperation, especially at the regional and sub regional level.
